2018 marked a defining moment for the Love for All Outreach—not only in impact but also
in identity. This year, the LoRae Foundation was formally birthed, and with it came the
umbrella initiative, Outpour, focused on intercessory prayers for children and families.
Our outreach that year took us to Countryside Orphanage in Bawjiase, about 45 minutes
from Kasoa. As always, we began with an initial needs assessment through a dedicated team
member. We mobilized more volunteers than ever before—including health workers who
offered health screenings for caregivers while the rest of the team ran our usual program.
The Word was shared through interactive Bible study sessions led by three passionate team
members. Games followed, and to our surprise and delight, the children brought out their
own drums, filling the air with rhythm, joy, and pure excitement.
With creativity and love, we transformed their dining hall into a banquet space—”a place set
to dine with Jesus,” as one person described. The orphanage owner stood in awe of the
transformation.
We donated food, clothes, and other essentials, and recognized the caregivers for their selfless
work. As the bus drove off, the children ran after us, waving with such emotion that it left an
imprint on our hearts. This outreach was a reminder: we were growing—not just in numbers,
but in love and purpose.
