In 2023, the LoRae Foundation team journeyed to Freedom House Foundation in Bawjiase,
Central Region—a little over an hour from Kasoa. This visit was sparked by a heartfelt
recommendation that this orphanage was largely unreached, and our initial needs
assessment proved just how timely and divinely orchestrated our presence was.
We first joined them during their Sunday worship, bringing a few items with us and
promising to return—and we did, with full hearts and helping hands. Our outreach was met
with immense excitement. Alongside our faithful partners, Levite Praise Incorporated, we
shared the Word of God, brought joyful game time, and donated clothing, stationery, food
items, party goodies, and even seed money.
What made this visit truly unforgettable was the genuine love and gratitude radiating from
the children. One young boy, endearingly referred to as a “pastor,” offered a heartfelt prayer
over the team. We ended the day by honouring the caregivers with tokens of appreciation. It
was a beautiful reminder that no place is too far when love leads the way
