In 2016, the Love for All Outreach took a profound and unforgettable turn. For the first time,
we extended our mission to children living with disabilities at the Mephibosheth Training
Centre, located at Ankamu near Apam Junction in the Central Region.
This outreach was more than a visit—it was a heart-transforming encounter. As we arrived,
the atmosphere was filled with songs of praise, joyfully lifted by children whose physical
limitations did not hinder their passion for God. We engaged them in fun activities, and the
smiles on their faces told a story words couldn’t express. We shared God’s word, prayed
together, and witnessed what true strength and love look like.
Rev. Jehu-Appiah, the founder, was deeply moved by our interaction. He appreciated how the
children were fully included in the games, reminding us that joy knows no barriers. One
young boy—our “little pastor”—volunteered to pray for us. Though his speech was laboured,
his heartfelt prayer moved many of us to tears.
As we dined together, a beautiful moment unfolded: children who could feed themselves
were lovingly assisting those who couldn’t. This act of selflessness revealed a love so
pure—it expanded Lorae’s mission to reach every child, especially those often overlooked.
